Can NeuronCx be our WhatsApp provider in CleverTap?

Yes. NeuronCx is added as a WhatsApp provider in your CleverTap channel settings. Your campaigns and journeys stay in CleverTap, and NeuronCx sends each message on WhatsApp through the official WhatsApp Business Platform.

Do delivery and read reports show up in CleverTap?

Yes. NeuronCx sends each message's status back to CleverTap as it changes: sent, delivered, read or failed, with the error if it failed. These appear in your CleverTap campaign reports.

Do customer replies reach CleverTap?

Yes. When a customer replies to a CleverTap campaign, NeuronCx sends the reply to CleverTap, linked to the message it answers. Today this covers text replies and button taps.

Can CleverTap journeys use button taps?

Yes. When a customer taps a button on a WhatsApp message, NeuronCx sends the button label to CleverTap, so a journey can branch on it. For example, a "Book now" tap can lead to a booking follow-up.

Which messages can we send from CleverTap?

Approved WhatsApp templates, including text with or without variables, templates with an image or video, and templates with buttons. Free-form messages within an open conversation are text only.

How does the CleverTap integration connect?

NeuronCx is added as a WhatsApp provider in CleverTap using its option for connecting your own provider. CleverTap sends messages to an address NeuronCx gives you, and NeuronCx sends statuses and replies back to the addresses CleverTap creates. No code or installation is needed on your side.
